Here it suddenly got cold, so had to get into the autumn mood hahaha but looking forward to some seasonal recipes :) I have a bottle of homemade toppoki sauce in my fridge, so I don't have to measure each time. And I found out that you can make toppoki so easy in the microwave so I always do that (3 to 4 min on 600w) And I love adding a soft boiled egg to mine; egg and the spice sauce go so well together. Or if I have left over tamago yaki I add that on top. But the rice cakes are hard to find here, someties I make it with kiri mochi (but cook it a lot shorter, I overcooked mine once and it became a very spicy sticky mess) but I'm going to try udon with the toppoki sauce next see how that is since it as a chewy texture as well. I got some of the erasable pens from Japan. I love different colours in my diary/date book. And I always get the same cat date book on amazon. My stationary weakness is washi tape. That q10 cream is my favourite, my hands get so soft.

Oh you always have good ideas on cooking! I bet Udon will go well in the Toppoki too!!! May be roughly cut them up so they also look a little like Toppoki? I bet you are a very good cook too 👍 FriXion pen 🖊 is so convenient right? I love them 🥰 and q10 hand cream, inexpensive but works so well 👍 I wish you have a nice week ahead 💛💛💛

I love how well your sons eat their healthy dinners. In USA, children don’t seem to be raised eating healthily. I really enjoy seeing a slice of your life. So different from mine. I raised 8 children - 4 of my own and adopted 4 of my brother’s children, and I remember cooking so many meals for them. This brings back so many happy memories. Thank you!

I love lavender scented lotion and candles. It’s so cool to see your boys enjoying their food! I don’t care for sweet potatoes but I do bake a lot of pumpkin in the fall. I made pumpkin choc chip cookies today. Everyone loves them. Thanks for sharing!

Yes 😀. Pumpkin with chocolate chips added in. Whenever I make them, they get gobbled up quickly! Pumpkin chocolate chip bread is also very good. Lavender is very calming. Enjoy your weekend!

I really LOVE how you just pour in a little sake or soy sauce or sesame oil without measuring! That's the sign of a good cook - plus everyone's palate, and the ingredients, are a bit different - some people like things saltier or sweeter, so exact measurements are silly! Even soy sauce can vary so much from brand to brand so a tablespoon of one brand will be very different to another! I bought some cheap soy sauce once out of desperation, and it was AWFUL!! It always amuses me that people will pay $20 for a 'good' bottle of wine they drink in one go and then resent paying a few extra dollars for a good bottle of soy sauce that will get used for many meals while making a big difference to the taste. Thanks for another enjoyable video Linna!

Weirdly enough the color of the eggs are dependent on the color of the chicken :D so brown eggs come brown chicken etc
