I received those purple sweet potato sticks from a friend who visited Okinawa. They were delicious. The glasses are beautiful!!!! and I would also buy the gardian lions, so cute! My daughter loves spam onigiri, but never thought about shaping the rice with the span can, such a good idea. We also love making spam tamago toji. it's an easy and inexpensive dinner or lunch. I only eat bitter hourd when I salt and soak it for a long time. It really reduces the bitterniss. I once tried making tsukemono with bitter gourd, but that was too bitter for me.

Spam Tamago Toji? I have never tried that! Sounds yum! 🤤 I like my bitter gourd a little bitter, you can slice it into very thin slices, soak with salt and blanch it before you use! But a lot of work 😅

I love all the treasures you got in Okinawa! I am preparing for vacation too, my husband will have 5 days off of work. We will not travel, but instead will enjoy our home without the race to get him off to work. We live near a lake, here in Mississippi, we are planning to spend some time enjoying the beauty it provides, but we rarely have time to see. I think a picnic on the porch one day and guests for dinner another will make our vacation special. Thank you so much for another wonderful video.

Interesting you eat Spam (i guess once and awhile is ok lol) here in the states it’s considered a very unhealthy meat if it’s even meat lol. High in salt and we laugh because it’s unknown ingredients and chemicals. 🤣
