WLooks like you had a great trip! ould love to try those chili flakes. Sounds amazing on the soba. And to visit the museum. The rocks reminded me of my childhood; my dad has a collection of those rocks :) Loved watching them when he took them out once in a while. In Tokyo I always go to the blue seal ice cream stand near sunshine city, but they do not sell all the typical Okinawan flavours there.

I have never seen Blue Seal in Kanto! Those rock in the museum were amazing! 🥰

@@LinnainJapan In Ikebukuro is a blue seal. It has been there for at least 10 years. But it's underground so if you don't take the passage from Sunshine 60 street you won't see it.

It’s so beautiful there. In the United States, if we go to the Florida beaches for a getaway groceries are more expensive than they are at home in Kentucky. We eat out many nights because the seafood is so good but still cook a lot of meals in the condo we rent.

I remember when I was younger, we bought sugar cane to chew on to get the juice, then spit out the rest. Now people buy it already squeezed, easier to drink the juice, but chewing is more fun. 😄

@@LinnainJapan my Kids age from 26 eek to kato at 5 months. So the eldest two stayed at home the other 3 came, it’s just treat as part of the holiday with a layover in the middle to break it up. Ninetendos are a godsend as is my old I pod.
