This chokes my heart..I lived in hida takayama as an English teacher almost 40 years ago, and seeing this unaltered beauty transcending time evokes powerful memories..in this ever-changing cynical world it is comforting to know there are places that exist which exhibit a wisdom in silence and harmony that spans the generations...home of my spiritual heart..take care and be there forever..
