Japanese Countryside #22 | The arrival of winter and preparing an old house for winter

As the fall passed quickly, winter came to the town at the foot of the Northern Alps.
The world was covered in a blanket of snow.
We had to hurry and get ready for winter.
The year is almost over. How was your year?

We are a family of three who quit a company and migrated to an old private house in the foothills of the Northern Alps.
Nagano, which we visited while traveling in a camper we purchased at the end of our 30s.
The Northern Alps attracted us and we decided to migrate there.
In November 2023, we started our life in the land of our dreams.
I hope you enjoy watching Ayako, her husband Shin, and their daughter Yuri live a leisurely and comfortable life in a place they are not accustomed to.

When you are lucky enough to see the sunrise it is a "Oh my God moment"For your family you have the mountain tops also and the beautiful backdrop of that amazing sky .I live in the USA and my home is situated where I can step out on my deck and enjoy that glorious event.Although i dont have the mountain tops I can imagine how it feels by viewing with you.Have a good healty and happy coming year to your family .And many ore glorious sunrises ❤🎉😊

I absolutely love how you made Christmas very simple. Yuri had one gift from Santa under the tree which is all any child needs. It makes it so much more special doing it this way. Seeing your video made me very nostalgic for the days when i was a child at Christmas. Happy New Year!
