While normally I'd vibe with that kind of guy, I would definitely not buy drugs in Japan. Asian countries have VERY strict drug laws by comparison to America and Europe. Simple possession can get you 20 years, you can be arrested even if you've already consumed the drugs simply for being high, and socially there's a huge stigma against it. And God forbid you're dealing them, some Asian countries have the death penalty for that. Obviously that doesn't stop those who want to, people are gonna do what people want to do. But I just wanted to give a little PSA for any tourists. Wait until you're back home to party like that. Every culture is different, so when in Rome do as the Romans do.

If you dont mind I have a question, I know in Japan theyre pretty strict about weed use, but does that mean its really difficult to get it or do some people there just smoke it casually like they do here

there are people who smoke it, but if they do, they do it in hidden places where noone else can see them (there’s a lot of snitches in japan) however there is some weed that is legal by the japanese legislature and you can even order it online (mostly HHC, THCP etc. those synthetic cannabinoids that have the same effect)

@@rafipuff ahhh ok interesting, I just thought I'd ask because my girlfriend wants to become a college English teacher in Japan, yknow to teach Japanese students English, and so yknow wherever she goes I go, I love the thought of living in Japan, however I'm a stoner so I've been trying to carefully look into the weed situation over there, because I would like to still have my smoke but not end up in prison

@@soaktinbleech1106 as a foreigner you wouldn't end up in prison, however the punishment can be as severe as being banished from japan for 10 years or so for a stoner there are only alternatives like the hhc i mentioned or edibles, but nothing like the real deal

It's probably a good thing you didn't give prices. If you start giving out prices you start giving ideas to foreigners coming to Japan specifically to get high there. Haha I’ve only met Japanese drug dealers through Japanese people… never been approached by people (esp gaijins) on the street like that for drugs (but you can see black guys in harajuku trying to get you to go to a store) So yeah I knew Japanese ppl who used Taima and shabu is really popular smh.. i don’t think I would trust a random gaijin on the street for anything legit but I wasn’t much of a drug user in Japan lol
