I've watched many of your videos. I don't hunt much anymore so my favorites are your knife and fishing videos. Especially the fishing videos having shore lunch. I know you are a fly fishing angler and would love to see you tenkara fish and shore lunch. On another note, I bought a Firebox a few years ago after your recommendations. Absolutely the best! I have learned many things from your channel sir. Mahalo!

Mr. Wako, I've been watching your videos for 10 years now, and I still enjoy every single one. In that time, I have acquired several Bark River knives, Shapton and Naniwa stones because of your demonstrations and recommendations. I would love to see a video of your entire knife collection and your thoughts on all your knives now after many years of use :) Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience with everyone, best wishes from Denmark.

You make some of my very favorite videos. Living in the US, grew up in the mountains of Southwest Virginia and spent my time trout fishing the numerous streams and rivers in Virginia, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Love your fishing videos, your knife videos, and your hunting videos. I love every video I have ever watched that you have made. Thank you Sir. And totally agree with your opinion on Covid.

Greetings from Russia. I've been your subscriber for 10 years. Tell me, as far as I understand, your best knives are Bark River and convex sharpening. How do you feel about sharpening scandi? You haven't had a hunting video for a long time. And most importantly, why are you cutting your prey like that? You are left with a lot of meat that you do not eat.

Hello Dr. Virtuovice, You have a big collection of knives. I have a question for you, please. Have you ever used AEB-L steel? I have some AEB-L knives in 60-62 HRC. I also find the toughness is amazing and the edge retention excellent. I think AEB-L better than some PM stainless if it's heat treated properly. I have sommes AEB-L knives of William Collins (you can find his channel on youtube), I have never seen such the good knives.

@joeysknivesnpuukkosfinland43372 жыл бұрын
Mr. Virtuovice Greetings. Great catch! Beautiful stream. I have a question, I hope its appropriate. I have been making knives and puukkos, Leukus of 80crv2 toolsteel lately. I have seen comments that Daniel Winkler prefers 80crv2 and 3v. He has said that the 80crv2 edge retention is similar to 3V. 80crv2 should outperform 3v in toughness thou. 80crv2 is easier to field sharpen than 3V or cruwear but the corrosion resistance is better with 3V and cruwear than the 80crv2. That means that 80crv2 is not far from cruwear either. Have you had any experience with 80crv2 toolsteel? I hope this question is approriate.

I doubt that tiny creek would support much larger trout. Not enough food, not enough cover. 30 cM is 12" which is huge for a creek of that size.
