先生、Thank you for giving a clear explanation of the difference. Can I say, that 「として」 is narrowly used to refer to oneself circumstance and 「にとって」used in a general sense? When in use of these two words, they make the end differently, one ends with verb, the other ends with noun?

in english the easiest way to understand these is to understand として = as (someone) and にとって = to (someone) they aren't interchangeable in english either without changing the meaning and implications of the sentence. japanese is the same way.
I thought exactly equivalent difference between として and にとって is as and for. as an American, for American, like this. But seems my thought is not correct. as a Japanese, I need to learn Japanese more hahaha 日本人としてもっと日本語を学ばなければならない。

알기 쉬운 설명 감사합니다. "토시테"는 "~로서", "니톳테"는 "~에 있어서" 라는 뜻인 것 같네요.
