These videos are so interesting, not just useful to study Japanese but also because you give your honest perception about your culture and experiences. That’s so valuable! Thank you for sharing!

Gosh... The sound has even been channeled to the left or right depending on who was speaking at the moment 👍🏻

thanks for your video, always interesting. You got a true point, what is a real friend ? You know we may have tons of friends, but when you are down and out, when things are not going well with you, the only guy that would knock at your door trying to help you , listening to you, that will be a true friend. Probably the most difficult to find out, and to keep.

I lived in Japan for two years and had many Japanese acquaintances but no friends (lots of non Japanese friends though). What sucked though was that I wasn’t part of the group really for my Japanese acquaintances or almost friends but not quite. I have to say this was probably due mostly to the language barrier though. I could have conversations with Japanese one on one but I couldn’t keep up with the group conversations. Of course you need a certain amount of cultural knowledge besides language ability for that. I probably wouldn’t be accepted the same way a Japanese person is but I think if I could have kept up with their group conversations they’d have included me I their group activities more and I’d have been happy. Japanese freaking hard though 😂. I was one of the foreigners who were GOOD at Japanese but I wasn’t good enough. Two years isn’t 10 years though. If you keep trying and you live there long enough I think you can make it.

I wish you put subtitled in English how to say in Japanese. Many of us have difficulty pronounce or read Japanese. Otherwise, it's looks like you just talking to each other. I feel discouraged when I see many vlogs want to teach Japanese but no English subtitled how to read in Japanese. I just move on to another vlog!
