The cheese crackers could be a metaphor for being Chris’s friend. At first it’s dry and salty and flavourless and your not sure why your there, and then suddenly you find yourself enjoying his dry salty humour and you wouldn’t have it any other way. I mean, 16 minutes of Chris complaining about his snacks and I never want him to change 😂

i figured it out. Emma chooses c rap convenience store food because she likes to cook, Chris chooses premium convenience store food because he eats there all the time and knows what's good. It's the typical tourist versus resident situation. You know what's good when you live there, when you don't, you fall for hype.

The original lunch video was my first introduction to this channel, and Chris. Then I binged all his videos In 2 weeks, needed more of his dry humor and found the first episode of trash taste he was a guest on, and down the Japanese rabbit hole I went, TO THIS VERY DAY 😅 and now we've come full circle.

One time i was in the netherlands and ate a banana creppe... it was filled not with a banana but a cream-filling that tasted like the essence of 1000 bananas and vanilla and ice cream. Boy i never had such a epic banana flavor ever again since then.

Lawson convenience stores were first created in Northern Ohio . I grew up outside of Cleveland Ohio and remember them quite well in the 60s,70s and 80s before they disappeared.They were well known for their chip dip and it is still sold in various convenient stores in the area.
