The cheese crackers could be a metaphor for being Chris’s friend. At first it’s dry and salty and flavourless and your not sure why your there, and then suddenly you find yourself enjoying his dry salty humour and you wouldn’t have it any other way. Lawson convenience stores were first created in Northern Ohio . I grew up outside of Cleveland Ohio and remember them quite well in the 60s,70s and 80s before they disappeared.They were well known for their chip dip and it is still sold in various convenient stores in the area.
