Have you any tiny homes in Russia?
@serhions
@serhions 4 жыл бұрын
@@stuartsutherland7664 Hey, Stu! I'm glad you asked such a delicate question... Thanks, man. Well, I have not my personal Tiny home yet. The reason is here in Russia, the climate conditions are quite harsh... : ) For example, my home-city Novosibirsk is located on the border of subarctic and temperate climate zones (i.e., on the border of 2b/3a climate zones with a lowest january temperatures of -40 by Celsius or even a bit lower). Also, the snow cover and quite hard frosts here keep, on average, for a half of year, man. So the "Tiny homes" movement in our country is not yet much developed as this requires a bit more advanced modern technologies of mobile housing construction, associated with the cost of high-tech production. But, man... I really believe that sooner or later the fashion for "Tiny house" movement will spread out to the whole World, because this is more cost-effective for each individual citizen, and in addition, it allows any person to be mobile and not tied to a specific metropolis. Cheers, and stay safe. : )

@@wildflower2793 No, there is nothing wrong with them living with their father and are not babies. Her downsizing to another life style is logical. Society has so many rules for one way but reality is if boys lived with her they would behave bc there are 2 of them raising the kids, not just Mom. way should be. They have the same community which father lives so less upset and she is still their mother. Loving mothers is not a weakness it is a necessity for good development. teaching boys macho is BS helps them make a better world.

Hey buddy, i am new watching these inspiring tiny houses.... Hope to see more and more... I am from Manila and hope we can see also something like this here but I think one issue could be the typhoon season so it may be difficult to have this type of home. omg the price is 130K AUD for just a tiny house. This is around 5M Php, which can give you already a 150 sq. m of lot and 2 Story house with 2 car garage and everything you can see in that house. Wow, its really high cost of living in other parts of the world.

So do I. I'd love to build a Tiny House, or have one built. These things could solve so many home/housing problems, but there are a couple of caveats. The first is either cost of having the house built by a professional, OR you need to be able to build it yourself. Second caveat is that you need to have a small parcel of land YOU own, or you need to basically "squat" with your house on someone else's land as this woman is doing. Third is there seems to be a stigma about Tiny Houses which is very sad: they're seen under LAW as little more than "glorified RV's"; as such it's difficult to find a place to "park" them?

many of these seem to involve someone they know having some land and letting them either rent space in some way or just stay there. I've seen very few videos where someone actually talks about how they found out what the local building codes were to design the home around and actually has bought the land. @@caledoniabeautifuleden8584 I don’t think it's a custody issue as she said she has the boys on weekends and all holidays. As she lives close to the beach (not usually a school location due to higher land costs closer to the beach) so I would guess she lives to far away from the boys school. It’s important when a marriage ends to keep things as close to normal for the children so makes since why they aren’t moved to a school closer to her. And she said it was hard to find a parking spot and she wishes it was more private so I’m sure when she can she will move closer to her boys.

So, i've been living in a container home since the lockdown (2.30m wide, ~12m long, 2.2m high), and it's actually fine, probably the same as in any other home really. Where you will also want to just 'go out' every once a while, and that is luckily still possible ... Actually the thing i personally notice is that, while this container is about 12m long, i spend most my time on 1/4th of it (behind my computer in the 'working area' ~ also relaxing after work), then some time in 1/4th that is the kitchen with a small table (to cook and eat), and even less time in the bathroom (which divides the space in two). Obviously spend quite some time in bed (out of 24h) but that's mostly with my eyes closed ... it may sound weird but you get used to the space you are in pretty fast, main thing that sometimes bugs me is the low ceiling, but if you check tiny houses, they don't have that issue ... so yeah, it's more then doable :) ... And if anything the experience here has convinced me that going Tiny/Small is actually really viable, it's made me re-evaluate my future goal and dreams and for now it seems they are much more attainable then dreaming big, or even just a regular standard house. My current plans are 'roughly' 8.5m long 3.5m wide ~5m high (outside dimensions), inside 8.2x3.2 with two times 2.5m high floors (with a barn style roof, that's like this M shape with the V part bend upwards) (inside dimensions). Upstairs two 3.2x 2.7 rooms (bedroom and computer/workroom) and a small shower/toilet room in the middle , with stairs down. Stairs share the space with the kitchen and underneath the stairs would be the pantry. This then divides the space up into 3.2x3 relaxation space, and a 3.2x2.5 'utility space' (washing, freezer, toiletroom) ... still dabbling about building a shower/toilet downstairs and merely toilet basin upstairs, so those aren't entirely set. So, what i would recommend, is to get a tape-measure and just measuring spaces in your house and especially the spaces you find yourself living in most (also measure depths and sizes of the objects in those space). You will probably be amazed about how much 1m^2 (or 3ft) actually is, or 4m^2 (so 2x2).

Hey Bryce and Rasa, I hope things are going good for you both and that you're both safe with all of what's going on? I REALLY LOVE Leah's design of this Tiny Home!!! It's beautiful. I love woodwork, but I find many places have too much of it, Leah and her designer and builder really balanced out the interior design very well in that it's not overdone in any aspect. This is the type of Tiny Home I am wanting to design and build. The use of space in this design, but making it not seem as though she was trying to cram as much storage in as she could do is really well done. I find that when it comes to tiny homes, or any home really, that the more straight lines and uniformity in look tend to always give a much decreased overall simplistic look while at the same time create really effective storage spaces without making it seem like your using every last corner as storage. You can tell Leah really put a lot of effort and time into designing and building this tiny home with her designer and builder, it truly shows. She really designed the space very intelligently. And making the whole home slightly bigger than the trailer footprint really adds to the interior overall layout of EVERYTHING. I live in Toronto, Canada. Ever since I first started seeing tiny homes in Vancouver, there they are called Lane Homes, I have been interested in having one, and since the Tiny Home movement really took off on KZbin, I have designed and redesigned a number of ideas for a tiny home. It looks like this design has inspired yet more refining. I know you're probably thinking, "Well mate, what're ya waitin for?" I'm waiting for my wife to get to Canada from the Philippines so we can decide where it is that we want to live before building a home. The idea of building a Tiny Home here in Toronto, to possibly end up moving it east or west across country is not an undertaking I want to have. Plus, I want to buy land and pretty much have an off grid homestead. I still have to sell my wife on that part though as she wants to stay in the city. I think we will easily be able to find something that works for us both somewhere, Canada has lots of areas for a homestead. Personally I want to go back to British Columbia, I'm hoping that after she gets here and we take a cross Canada trip together, she may feel the same. The only game changer I can foresee now is how is the economy and life going to be effected by the virus. Hopefully by the time we are decided and ready to make our move into being Tiny Home Owners, there will be a vaccine and things will resume to a better normalcy. Thank Bryce and Rasa for the Channel. I get so incredibly much enjoyment from watching the your videos. Peace, Love, Happiness, and Laughter, Keep Safe All, -Matt

@@livingbig Swede who's lived in Japan too! This is one of the most amazing tiny house I've ever seen. Glad to hear you'll be visiting our beautiful country soon. We have a lot of cute small red houses you should check out. When I was a kid, my extended family had a small plot of land in the middle of the forrest up North, and each of my mother's siblings had their own "tiny house" (we just called them cabins) positioned in a circle towards one another. All red wooden houses, traditional Swedish style. They were all fully equipped with bathroom and kitchen and stove (and mosquito nets haha) and yet pretty small. We the kids (me and my cousins) shared a cabin with bunkbeds. We'd all go there on the weekends during summer and go fishing at the local river and have BBQs. One of my happiest childhood memories, great time with the whole family.

It's been difficult to down size. I'm still in the process. I commend those that are able to move to a tiny house space. I just can't understand how I accumulated so much.
