Yokohama, September 1st, 1923. A city of liberal ideas like labor unions, women's rights, and democracy. A city of foreign delights like chocolate and cigars. A city about to be destroyed! Buildings collapse crushing hundreds and fires rage across the city as a 40ft tsunami has hit Yokohama leaving it in ruins. The tides have turned sweeping people out to sea and letting ultra-nationalists like the Black Dragon Society and Black Ocean Society rise from the ashes. Changing Taisho Democracy forever.

Umm, your video is about the early years of the reign of Emperor Hirohito (1921-1989), not about the years/short reign of Emperor Taisho/Yoshihito (1912-1921), the only time Japan had actually made an attempt at democracy, prior to the American occupation post-World War 2!

It's hard to think of a more consequential period in the History of Japan than the period between 1867-1989 (emperors Meiji/Mutsuhito, Taisho/Yoshihito, and Hirohito)! I mean, in 1867, Japan was, still, a feudal state; by 1989, Japan became the (cultural, at the least) blueprint for the future.

About the Washington Naval Treaty, Japan wasn't afraid of the Russian Navy, they had been granted 2/3rds of the Navy that the US and Great Britain had, and developed the doctrine of Kido Butai to wage war with either of these 2 Nations (Mostly the US). Russia's Naval force wasn't so much a threat after both the pacific and baltic fleet were destroyed, and showed no ambition to build their navy back up to much of anything, so little in fact that they weren't present at the Washington Naval Treaty

At 4:30 you said Siberia when the area depicted contains zero areas locally considered to be part of Siberia. This is a part of the Russian Far East, which is a geographically distinctive area much different from Siberia in climate and culture.
