I can't imagine One Piece not hitting at least 1350 chapters. We have the revolutionary army, the marines, Blackbeard, Shanks, Imu/Gorosei, the Void Century, and THE ONE PIECE to resolve. Plus I *think* we're almost finally to Elbaf, which Oda has probably been collecting ideas for across decades. If each one of these takes just ten chapters on average, we're still looking at another two years, minimum.

Oda has no real feel for time frame it will be atleast 4 years in elbaff + probably another 4 for final war/ laugh tale arc. Two years isnt even enought for a smaller arc like egghead

Knowing this might be the last "adventure" arc before the final war i think its very fitting to start with the first straw hats. I wonder if well see the others rejoin the crew in the same order they joined through out the series. (e.g. Chopper, Robin, Franky , etc)

I'm fairly confident the story will last just a bit longer than we all might've suspected. It feels like Oda's using this last saga to really test himself and perfect the many different gags, narratives, character moments, and themes he's shown throughout the series. I have a feeling Elbaf is much bigger than we anticipate. Expecting the story to take us both high above and deep below this land of fables.

I have seen some people online point out how this chapter has a few things which seem like mistakes. Luffy calls out "gear 4" when he does his attack, but he isn't actually in gear 4 form. Also on the last 2 pages, the weapon on Luffy's back seems to have a sword hilt, but then later the handle is just wooden and it instead looks like an axe. Are these mistakes by Oda? Some people think maybe they aren't mistakes, and that the inconsistencies suggest this is some kind of dream or hallucination which follows dreamlike logic. The weapon changed in a dreamlike way, perhaps similar to how the cat changes into a lion. Personally, I'm not sure what to think.

No. They are intentional. Oda never made so many mistakes in one chapter

@@stavros222 I agree the mistakes are weird, it does make me think they are intentional. The last time there was a mistake that I remember is Atlas originally had the wrong number on her outfit and I can see that being easily overlooked. But Luffy's weapon changing from one to another all on the same page is pretty suspicious. You would think an editor could easily spot that if it was a mistake. Makes it seem like it's intentional which is why a lot of people are wondering about this.

Pay close attention to Nami's outfit throughout the chapter, lots of details keep changing. For me, there are way too many inconsistencies for it to be unintentional. I think she's tripping out from the absinthe 😂

Big "Stein" castle -> stein = brick in German. So it's simply the "big brick castle" where brick references Lego bricks!

I believe that someone is impersonating the Sun God and that's why they refer to them as Sama. I also believe that Chopper might be on a different island. The nordics countries are Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Feroe Islands. So, I don't know if we aren't going to explore several islands in Warland.

i think its pretty safe to say the sungod talked about in 1127 is not refering to luffy. my guess is loki claims to be the sungod since the loki from the comics was a pretty devious fella and telling a lie like that is exactly what the real loki would do

I believe the "Sun God" referred to by the people in this chapter might actually be the large crowned cat Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji took out. My reasoning; very often in the series Lion's are confused for the Sun or used as symbolism for the sun. That large cat transforms into a crowned lion with the crown having the symbol many of us have attributed to the ancient kingdom upon it's crown. It's my belief that this is either a pet of Loki or something similar that he's been using as a false "sun God" to manipulate the people of Elbaf.

Oda DOES seem to hold the Sun and the imagery of Lions in VERY high regard throughout much of the series, so that is a very strong possibility here.

I don't think one piece will end in chapter 1200. I'm gonna make a guess and say that by 1200 we will be leaving Elbaf. I think we'll get to at least 1300 before one piece fully ends

Ending on chapter 1200? I don't know what to say. I would personally love OP to go on so much longer, but, I also want Oda to be able to retire and enjoy life at his leisure. He deserves it.

It appears that they give the name god to anything and everything in the land of Elbaf 😂 It makes you think, if giant Jack does have something to do with Elbaf, did the name God come from the giants below or the people above?
