Dont know much about of Leyte Gulf. But I'm hoping to get a better idea of what really happened. I was always told it is better to travel hopefully than not travel at all. But for Admiral Kurita belief in miracles is pushing the hopeful travel part a bit too much.

Inthe attacks on Yamato, only 12 planes were shot down, 7 by AA and 5 by a explosion on Yamato. Those 25mm mounts were useless.
