8 years on and here we are, watching a guy look through a newspaper in 2011. It’s 2020 and this is how we’re spending our time. Wild.

Interpreting text is a strange thing. I assume they thought you were saying unintentional ASMR stole the video. People trust their intuition, and rarely give the benefit of the doubt. It's unfortunate, but interesting.

4:04 If you can look closer, you can see the NTV Pig logo, that’s highlighted unlike other channels. It’s obviously because Yomiuri Shimbun own NTV, and that’s the case with other Japanese newspapers. Sankei Shimbun own Fuji TV, Asahi Shimbun own TV Asahi, Nikkei Keizai own TV Tokyo and Mainichi Shimbun heavily cooperate with TBS.
i laughed when i see that big advertisement paper. and it was exciting. then you started to read all of them..

The newspaper is one of those reading materials that if you can read it in a foreign language you might be able to consider yourself fluent. Have you ever tried reading an American or Canadian newspaper? If so, was it hard for you? I'm just curious...
@lukeredacted75666 жыл бұрын
I Heart Nihon I've read only a single newspaper from America and I think that you bus are obsessed with politics and crime, Canadian newspapers are funny and have fun facts and cool stories, America is too serious
@kangaroo45276 жыл бұрын
Fan Boi Depends on what city the paper was from. Usually smaller towns have nicer newspaper. More fun facts, comics, happier news, etc.

So happy to come across your great ASMR video. And your very very handsome! What's handsome in Japanese?
@KouheisPeanutGallery2 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I am happy to hear you are happy. haha For your info, “handsome” in Japanese can vary: hansamu (from “handsome”), kakkoii, ikemen, otokomae, nimaime, and so on but mainly used are these ones I believe.
I need to access Japan newspaper from 1998 is there any way to search back old newpspaers i am after articles of my favourite band who played in Japan that year
@KouheisPeanutGallery Жыл бұрын
Maybe you need to physically visit a library (like National Diet Library, Japan) and you can access their microfilm archives. 1998 is not that old, so you shod be able to find newspapers of that year (not sure about the particular articles you are looking for). I looked up their website if I could access their newspaper archives online, but it seems they do not have online service for this kind of record.
