Yeees! it's fun to have such creative New England Sushi! I didn't know that Lightsaber chopsticks are existing😄 I am totally open to any fusion dishes and have deeply fascinated by these type of sushis that have grown in food industry (since 1987 when I came here). At the same time, I wouldn't mind if these are not called SUSHI either🤭

yes im not afraid of fusion either. I think, if you know what to expect you can really enjoy anything, even if it is different from what you are used! My mom bought the chopsticks for us! I had never seen them before either!
次回レストランのマンゴーロールを食べてください!この町に甘いマンゴフライロールがありますよ!😋 Is it normal to mix wasabi and soy sauce in Japan? I think it's so strange when my friends do it. Maybe it's not uncommon, though. 😮 One of my friends makes a thick paste out of it...

I was surprised to see mango on sushi! But I want to try it once.

it takes over the taste, so the mango was good but you lose the sushi flavor. I still kind of liked it tho
Many Americans I know think that the American sushi is the same as Japanese sushi. In fact they are often turned off by real Japanese sushi. Many of my friends says they love sushi but hate raw fish. The same thing goes for ramen.

yes food is often adjusted to tastes of different cultures. I like American sushi but Japanese sushi overall is superior. So if someone is coming from Japan they have to know what to expect in order to like it
