Their Japanese album "Bloom" was released some days ago. It's always so worthy listen their whole albums. They're the b-sides masters for a reason. From Feel My Rhythm there's In My Dreams, Beg for Me, Bamboleo, Rainbow Halo, Good Bad Ugly. My advice, give them a try, you never know what you'll get from them.

From what I know, Seulgi do speak japanese and Yerimie too, like fluently. They released (before Wildside) 2 mini albums in japanese too ! Cookie Jar and Sappy (I love this song !) Cookie Jar is kinda creepy but i dont think the way you want? but the sound is not so bright, bubbly !

@@Gigizzz_ not as a speaker. Joy does know about phonetic? idk how to say it in english but that is one thing. Seulgi has proven in lives her Japanese ( conversational, basic) and Yerim practice with her friend. About Joy, more than having lines idk

With artists like BoA, Tohoshinki, and SHINee, SM keeps their Japanese standards high to not damage their veteran artists’ legacy there. They aim to not need translators when they promote in Japan. I also like that their jp title tracks tend to be on a lower key, so you’ll hear more members’ voices than you do in the kr title tracks. SM artists tend to do darker, rock influenced songs for their jp albums not just brighter pop tunes. For instance, Taemin is even more dramatic and dark in his jp discography. The Bloom album is a bit more upbeat than Feel My Rhythm, but it also has a darker vibe. The track Marionette is very classic haunting Red Velvet sound.

Being talented as they are, Red Velvet performances are immaculate. Take a look at the Feel My Rhyrhm performance video 🤗. They will execute any concept to perfection. They are also known as the B-side queens. The non skip albums are incredible. They get to flex their vocals and even more experimentation.

As far as I know, what most Japanese consumers want from idols is to give happiness with friendliness and warmth to viewers with a lower position and attitude rather than a chic and cool image reigning over the viewers. I think many Japanese idols have had that tendency since the success of AKB48. After a long time, it is expected that the influence of KPOP was also in Japan, but as a result, it is not known how much Japan will like this cool and intense music. I need your opinion on this. Do you think this trend of change is actually effective for Japanese viewers (the average person who has not had a tendency to like KPOP before)?
@bophabun66832 жыл бұрын

@grape RIGHHT???? IT'S GOOD ISN'T IT??? My only problem is why is this not trending harder than 'Feel My Rhythm'?? I mean this is easily a BOP track at FIRST LISTEN compared to 'FMR'. But I'm really curious if you genuinely think you could understand it at all on first listen since it's been a thing about K-pop singers trying J-pop and sometimes the sentence structures in their lyrics may seem weird to some Japanese. I'm really curious if you were able to hear their pronunciation, understand and enjoy their lyrics as a local Japanese. Also, I'm soooo disappointed you didn't react hard on the video edit during the bridge part. IT WAS SO BADASS. Like the buildup and when Yeri cut's off the red laser/string (Man, I want to know too if you liked that symbolism cause red strings are a thing in Japan, right?).
