Hello!! I love this reaction video so much!! And I want to explain the WHOLE story and clear things up 🤗 This is a little bit long but I hope you’ll read this to understand the lyrics and whole MV, especially our cute and confused girl, Yui 🤣💜💜💜 So the scene where they talked at the church was their REAL closure. They were both a real couple. But then Julia, the girl, fell in love with another man while they were still in a relationship. But they were actually having problems already as a couple before she cheated. But it’s still unacceptable she did that before breaking up with Joshua, the guy in this MV and her ex-boyfriend. That’s why the lyrics said “You were with me, but you were looking for someone else”. They broke up but didn’t have a proper closure. When the guy, Joshua, actually said in their conversation at the church “I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me the most” and “And I’m sorry I didn’t protect you”, he was talking about when Julia got bashed by fans, literally everyone hated her, and she received a lot of bad words from the people (because she cheated). But of course, Joshua knows that they were already about to break up that time, it’s just a bad timing she fell in love with someone else before they officially broke up. But he didn’t comforted her and protected her from the people when she needed that the most. But for me, I can’t blame Joshua, because it’s Julia who fell out of love and even tho they were having problems already, it’s clear to everyone how Joshua still loves her so much despite all of that, and how hurt he was that’s why he couldn’t comfort her either. Look at the way he looks at her even in this MV. You can still see the pain and love in his eyes. The whole MV, and that confession and messages they exchanged in the church was real. The director even asked the staffs and all of the people there to go outside the church. They were just left alone inside with just the priest and Moira (the singer in this MV) to have a proper moment. It wasn’t acting, that’s why you’ll feel how real and heartbreaking it is.

@@tonyofficial1741 Yesss, but it wasn’t cheating I guess, since Joshua said publicly how he just commented on that photo to give compliment but not to flirt someone cause if that’s his goal he could’ve gone thru her DM’s and started a conversation like “hello” or “hi”, but he didn’t. Then he asked for forgiveness to Julia, her family, and to the fans. And yes, Julia actually kept quiet and eventually forgave him. But then I think they had other problems about the relationship that they just didn’t want to share publicly. But yeah, maybe you’re right, but a lot of people actually said that what he meant by “I wasn’t able to protect you and be there when you needed me the most” was when they broke up and he just disappeared while Julia was getting so much hate by the public. She needed him and actually waited for him to come back to her while she’s trying to reflect and learn through her actions. But he didn’t. He gave up already. That’s why if you’re familiar with one of their interviews after they broke up, where they had the chance to ask each other their “what if’s”, Julias asked Joshua “what if you gave me time to figure out myself?”, because he completely left her after they broke up. That’s why she said in the MV “I was so scared at that time, because I couldn’t find you anywhere”, then Joshua replied, “I’m sorry, I also got scared, “sobra” (so much)… because I wanted to be there when you were hurting. But I wasn’t… because I was slowly beginning to think and realize that what if we weren’t really for each other”….

From what i heard, their relationship is already on the rocks then Julia fell in love with her co-star in a movie, who is also in a relationship with a famous actress. When scandals went out that Julia is having an affair with the said actor, the Julia/Joshua fans are bashing her non-stop but Joshua didn't fight for their relationship and kept silent, as he said in the MV, "He wasn't there for her because he got scared and maybe because he knew that they are not meant for each other". It was confirmed last year that indeed Julia is in a relationship with Gerald Anderson who was with Bea Alonzo before. The actor Gerald Anderson is so notorious for falling in love with his co-star actress in movies and drama. According to the actor who played as the Priest, when they are goingnto shoot the last scene 'which is the girl apologizing' the director asks almost all of the crew to go outside the venue leaving only the Director, the two actors and camera men, the director instructed the two to just say whatever they want to each other genuinely since they didn't have any proper closure in real life when they broke up. There's no script to be memorize there and all of the lines was adlibs. I think why the reason why this hits so hard is because we can feel the pain of these two, they are not acting, they are broadcasting their own life using this music video.
