@@Crouton- Now to be fair, a lot of the lessons on their actual site is geared towards all levels, and are actually pretty good. I would consider myself to have an intermediate knowledge of japanese, and I learned a lot of what I know through JapanesePod101's actual site. However their youtube channel and live streams are VERY much aimed towards beginners. They have quality intermediate and advance lessons so I'm not sure why they dont put more of that stuff on their channel.

Ah, Misa-Sensei, please don't get upset by us! :) Honestly, I'm now in University Japanese and I'm using your videos as a SIDE lesson to the lessons I'm getting in class! My teacher is great! but there is only so much time she has in class for lecture (For example: Wednesday's lesson covered THREE of your videos' worth of grammar points). So I'm using them to further understand the grammar. Thank you very much! I am a Patron of yours on Patreon. Also, my teacher doesn't use colors... Your use of colors makes all the difference for me, it highlights the words and makes it so simple to understand. Thank you so much. :) Please continue doing what you are doing :)

Misa sensei, you're a hero! You're doing a wonderful thing for Japan and the world. You're teaching is great already but if you are interested in developing your, already excellent, methodology, please can I recommend to you the work of Stephen Krashen and the concept of "language acquisition". It might take you and your students to even greater heights. Partly it's a selfish request on my part because I'm dyslexic and can't learn by deliberate study but seem to make a lot of progress through the acquisition method. I read another comment by someone asking for a lesson "all in Japanese" and I think that's what they're looking for too. レッスン本当にありがとうミサ先生!

In my opinion, the beginner's grammar is more important, because it's used more often than the advanced grammar. And also there's more depth to be explored (i.e., nuances) sometimes with the basic grammar than you'd think.
