This time we'll learn how to say "I hope" both informally and formally in Japanese.
Do you know how to say "I hope you get better soon", "I hope I can pass the JLPT"?
I'll also explain the differences between といいね, といいな, といいんですが and といいんですけど.
ーーーーーーーーーーーーー
How to use ように
• ように vs のに SO THAT.../I...

やっと金曜日だね!みんなお疲れ様!週末ゆっくり休めるといいね☆ yatto kin-youbi da ne! Minna otsukare-sama! Shuumatsu yukkuri yasumeru to ii ne = TGIF! We all made it! I hope you can rest well this weekend! ☆ ("Otsukare-sama" is lost in translation. It could mean "Good job", "You worked hard", "You must be tired" "You deserve to rest now" but basically it's a phrase used for someone who finished something (e.g. work / exercise).

Really appreciate the coloured Kanji/Higarana/Romaji (same colour for one word). You probably spend a lot of time to prepare this video but it's worth it. Thank you so much. みさ先生, Your lessons are very helpful! I have been learning Japanese for half a year now, and I understand some of the important grammar structures, so I am pretty much at mid-high beginner level. I have watched other lesson videos and tried other resources. However, your lesson videos are the ones I really like the most because of your extremely helpful explainations. As a matter of fact, I watch your absolute beginner level videos series so I could take notes and not forget them. ありがとうございます, みさ先生.

I enjoyed hearing all that content explained in a still relatively short time, and especially ますように. I was an intern with a small Christian church in Tokyo, that partnered in distributing food and praying out loud with groups of homeless people. So eventually I was asked to lead a prayer and found I could say a lot once I was taught 神様~ありますように, but it's interesting to learn it's rarely spoken.

Just because I'm a stickler about such things, in English, to be jealous is to be afraid that someone will take what you already have; If you're afraid that the cute girl over there will steal your boyfriends attention than you are Jealous. To be envious is to want what another person has; if your neighbor just got a new Tesla and you wish you had one too than you are envious. I appreciate Misa distinguishing the difference but if English speakers were better at speaking English than she wouldn't really have to.
