Anywhere in the world, yes. Japan is backwards and it's always about who licked the ass the most. Our company even has a system where the most licker gets the "president award" with everyone applauding and such. Almost looks like a cult or a sect. Japanese language itself is very structured around making yourself insignificant insect while ascending the opponent to the status of god.
