If more American workers had a living wage, decent transportation infrastructure with walkable/bikeable cities, affordable access to food, affordable housing, healthcare that does not bankrupt them when they get even the smallest of injuries and bosses like his who actually value their employees you would have workers who would be more than willing to put in the same amount of effort he does.

I'm only working part time as a breakfast cook but since I'm slow, I come in 1 hour before I clock in and start my prep. At this point, I'm starting to want to start to go 1.5 hours earlier. I'm the one who opens the kitchen unless another cook (prep for lunch) comes in just as early if not earlier. I'm starting to like cooking. Taking pride in my work. Slowly but gently improving on my skills. Making less mistakes. Serving people as the number one goal and job is inspiring. If you are reading this, perhaps one year from now, maybe two, please do comment, so I can come back and give an update! I still wanna go back to school perhaps for exercise science or for translating work! See you then!

Here in the US, workers would say, that's not my job so I don't care.... With the Japanese, on how they respect each other and do great things for the sake of customers is mind blowing. That's what makes them unique in the international community.

❤ If only I could come to your restaurant! Y'all work very hard to prepare food made with the love ❤️ of food, plus y'all care about other people. Cleaning the area has to be a difficult task, but it's important for customers. I hope one day the chef has help cleaning before having to purchase food and begin the prep work, plus the end of the day. It's awesome that y'all see the importance of enjoying life, work, co-workers, customers... it's important to enjoy LIFE! I'd definitely call you 'Cool'! I can tell you're Cool just watching you in this video. As the French say, Laissez les bons temps roulez! Thank you! ❤
