One thing I noticed about Japanese restaurant videos is that they put so much effort in making their food, and they're not shy about portions.

I like how they don't skimp on the protein. Not sure about the dishes in the video, but when I went to Japan, you could get a good feed for cheap (relatively). For example, I live in Australia. To get a good size meal, you'd be looking at $30+ unless you go something really cheapo junk. In Japan, less than $10. Like, $14 tops for something a bit more fancy.

配膳されるときの料理のビジュアルが凄いな、追い飯でなくって追いおかずってヽ(^o^)丿素敵だ、とりあえず注文の時は少な目頼むだろうけど仕込みから見ていると美味しそうなの出来上がってるでないの!!!八王子なんで何とか食べに行けそうなのもうれしいですね。涼しくなったら食べに行ってみます。
