@siriusmaia9 жыл бұрын
"kyou (wa) nani (wo) tabemasu ka?"(今日(は)何(を)食べますか?)(←"wa" and "wo" can be omitted in spoken language.) In this sentence the subject(we=(watashitachiわたしたち) or you(=anataあなた)) is omitted. So it can mean "what are we eating today?" or "what are you eating today?" depending on the situation. When it’s clear to eat together, it means "what are we eating today?" To make the subject clear, you should say "anata(=you) wa kyou nani wo tabemasu ka?"(あなたは今日、何を食べますか?)for "what are you eating today?" and "kyou nani wo tabemashou ka?"(今日、何を食べましょうか?)for "what are we eating today?" ”tabemashou” means “shall eat”. "kyou nani wo tabemashou ka?" means “What shall we eat?” ※“nani wo” sounds like “nani o”. “wo”=”を” “o”=”お” ※※Sorry for my poor English.

Here's some mnemonics to help differentiate between the four: - For tabemasu, think "table" What do you do at a table(dinner)? Eat. So TABEmasu is eat. -For nomimasu, think "no" If someone offers you a drink(alcohol) you say no(well I'm a minor so I'd say no and any minor should say no to alcohol). Or you can think "no drinks allowed" for NOmimasu. -For mimasu, think "Memes" Because you SEE memes. MIMasu. You could also think "Me" or "Mirror" because you SEE yourself in the mirror. -For kikimasu think, "Kiki" As cringey as it is, think of hearing the "Kiki, Do You Love Me" Drake song. KIKImasu. Like, ugh, I don't wanna hear that song! Hope this helps!
