No one has taught me this dua except by Ustadh Bajor. This dua of ustadh Bajor is the best dua from the current scholars of Islam.

Each time a sick person uses it, you gain. 3. Teach someone to recite a Dua. 4. Sharing islimic content. 5. Participate in building a Mosque. 6. Place a water cooler/ well in a public place. 7. Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 8. And the easiest of all, share this message with people. Even if one person applies any of the above, you gain. In last 6 months I lost my eldest sister and father ....between the graveyard and my apartment is just a 10 ft wide street ....as Indian women are not allowed to enter graveyards I sit on my window and do dhikr on their behalf after fajr and isha everyday and inshallah I will continue till my last day.... just looking at the graveyard everyday which I never did before death happened to my own loved ones my whole perspective of life changed

Sister, dhikr is for yourself not for the departed. It's your ibadah. You can make dua and give to charity in the name of your loved ones. Also whatever good things your father and sister taught you, do it. They will get the reward. May Allah have mercy and shine His nur into their graves.

Abu Huraira (Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son, who prays for him (for the deceased). Sahih Muslim 1631 In-book : Book 25, Hadith 20 USC-MSA web (English) : Book 13, Hadith 4005 (deprecated) Sahih Muslim

@@elkapitan75 dhikr can be performed and its reward donated to the deceased. This is taken from the hadith in sahih Muslim whereby the Messenger of Allah (may Allah send peace and blessings upon him) walked by two graves, the occupants of which were both being punished. The Prophet ﷺ took a branch and broke it into two halves and placed one half on each grave and said that for as long as these leaves make dhikr the punishment of the inhabitants of those graves shall be lessened (Sahih Muslim). The ulema (including the likes of al-Nawawi) from this narration conclude that this is proof that the dhikr one performs is beneficial to the deceased and they especially give the example of the recitation of the Holy Qur'an but say it refers to every good act one performs.
