Yeah 3-13 just two years removed from going to the NFC championship game. it makes you wonder how AWESOME the Vikings could have gone had Adrian Peterson had his 2012 season numbers in the same season as Jared Allen's 2011 and then combine that with Brett Farve's 2009 season.Brett Farve had his statistically best season in 2009, Jarred Allen had his best Sack season in 2011 and AP had his best year in 2012, I think with might have gone 19-0 and been SB Champs had those three seasons all lined up in the same year. How do you stop the run? how do you stop the pass? how do you stop Jared Allen from wreaking Havoc on your O-line?

guitar man what’s up bro. I live in andover. Mn. Where you live. Next, Atlanta is playing terrible football this year. Carolina is our only possible threat in the next 2 games. After that are the packers, ONLY if Rogers is back from is injury. I’m guessing we will lose 1 more game, maybe 2. What’s your take
@justinpearson6186 жыл бұрын
guitar man we are actually running the ball better with Murray and McKinnon. And that’s why our passing game is so Phenomenal. Offense of line is 1,000% better which gives our quarterback time to go through his reads. I’m just so exited and happy 😊 that case plays well in our system. Really fun to watch guitar man.

If he played like that now he would have 0 sacks and 22 roughing the passer calls because the nfl has turned to flag football where you have to ask the qb to please sit down
@markymark04175 жыл бұрын
I was just going to say that! And they're all clean sacks in my opinion.
@jacksond41645 жыл бұрын
Roughing the passer applies if the QB throws the ball. In every sack Allen got the QB still had the ball, therefore no roughing the passer. I bet you believe players before 2000 were faster and stronger too.
@BBgamerz2615 жыл бұрын
Jackson D the reason the rule is stupid is because if you start hitting him while he has the ball but follow through with momentum and he throws its away then you will get a roughing the passer call.

This video reminds me of why I was so sad the 09 Vikings never made the Super Bowl. That team, especially on the defensive side of the ball, had so many underrated players who never got the credit or limelight they deserved, that they might've gotten if we'd been to the SB. Allen, Winfield, (both) Williams. All truly amazing players and were right at the top of their respective positions for years, and outside of this year for Allen none of them really get the credit they're due.

@@Johnhargrove18 Every player I named was on that year's NFC pro bowl team, and 2 of them were first team all pros. That Vikings team had an additional 3 first team all pros I didn't name. So there's that.
@curlybearington1734Ай бұрын
@@Johnhargrove18 That Vikings team was ranked 6th in total yards allowed and 2nd in total run defense. They were also the 4th ranked scoring offense - which will inflate points other teams score in garbage time/blow outs. Considering that the 20th ranked scoring defense won the Super Bowl, and their opponent was the 8th ranked, that doesn't seem to be a great metric for a successful team.
