I don't understand why everyone thinks Georgiev played so badly. Manson was directly the cause of 2 goals and indirectly the cause of at least one other. I saw 1 soft goal out of the seven and I saw a lot of reaching and bad decisions in the AV"s zone... Georgiev is my choice to for goalie and I think Coach Bednar feels the same. Georgiev got us here along with the rest of the Team. This narrative that we screwed up not going after a top five goalie is stupid.

Girrard will be back on the ice tomorrow, I hope Manson is a healthy scratch until he learns how to clear the slot... if he clears the slot when they are trying to screen Georgiev, I this he sees those long shots better.

Agreed. Jets are a 4 line team and they scored 7 goals. AVS scored 6 against the top goalie in the NHL. Both teams had lots of issues with their play, especially the Jets. Game 2 won't be so wide open.

Georgie has my Vote too ........ Juice will be good but probably too green still at these levels of competition, I'd go Georgie even if Juice is healthy.

Fourgiev has shown consistently that he doesn’t make big saves when the team really needs them. His season long save% is poor, and atrocious the past few meaningful games. His win total is a function of a lot of games played behind a very potent offensive team. When you catch the Vezina winner on an off night, you HAVE to win that game. Seven goals on 23 shots is absurd.

when your goaler is not able to stop the first shot, how can you ask to defenseman to be better... Goergiev is not able, since a lot of weeks , to stop the puck.

First off, I absolutely HATE VGK. Second, this is an avalanche coach, talking about a Winnipeg game. You commented just to whine because the stars got outplayed? Your comment has nothing to do with this video... even a little bit. That being said, exploiting the cap is nothing new. Any and every team can exploit the system... And they do. Just ask Tampa Bay. It isn't the NHL alone. It is part of the cba. The only thing they allow is what was in agreement with the players union when the cba was agreed to. Cheating would be, not following the rules in order to gain an advantage. Vegas is with in the rules and they don't have an advantage that any other team can't also exploit.
