The guys are each wearing an outfit indicating a specific type of job. RM is a hotel bellhop, J-Hope is a race car driver, JK is a policeman, Jin is a doctor, V is a private investigator, Jimin is an office worker and Suga is in the military. Also, there's another song of theirs, Bapsae, or Silver Spoon, that talks about the oppression of the youth of Korean. DKDKTV has an explanation video for Bapsae and they go into detail on the whole giving up generation thing.

that is actually Jimin’s voice in the audio.. it’s been years and fans still don’t realize that the actual audio of the song and how it is in the MV and live performances are not the same. jin’s first lines in this MV are jimin’s also if you pay attention or even look at line distribution videos.

Im so excited that youre doing the BU! Heres my advice without spoilers: - 1st, i think you should go in order, & dont do too much deep dive on the lyrics, rather breakdown the mvs, theyre whats important. Sometimes the songs relate, sometimes they dont, but the mvs are *always* important! - pay attention to *everything* - pay attention to member pairings - its more about the mvs than the lyrics - pay attention to themes - its ok if you dont read the notes / play the game etc you can still figure it out, but those do help. You can find translations online but be careful of spoilers - straight up tell ARMYs you dont want spoilers & whether or not you want us to tell you when you miss something, clarify how much help you want - xCeleste has an explanation/ breakdown of the storyline that is the accepted theory by most ARMYs. I suggest watching this *after* youve watched all that you can, & take a guess / tell us your theory. For some reason ive never understood, some ARMYs tell reactors to watch this 1st but this takes the fun out of it imo. Oh last thing, remember that this is a fictional storyline! Im sure yall already know this but I'll put it here jic people who dont already know that read this (ive recently seen some people get confused & think the boys really went through some of this) Have fun! As for the BU, there’s no right or wrong way to approach it. You’ve already seen some of it. You need a plan bc not all videos are MVs, so you’d miss some of the content that you’d need to watch in order. Some of it is in Japanese MVs. So, make sure you know what the order it and follow it closely. Btw, after I Need You there’s a video that’s not an MV. On Stage Prologue short film is after.

I'm a little late to this party, and you've already started going through the BU, your reaction to 'I Need U' is next on my TV playlist as I'm writing this. 🤣 But I would definitely say the music videos are more important than the lyrics when it comes to the BU. The BU also includes some Japanese music videos, so keep track of that as well. One of the BU videos is, like, an 11 minute short film. So once again, the videos and the story in the videos are more important than the songs themselves in most cases. A few songs and their lyrics go with the BU, one is RUN I believe. Pay a lot of attention to various scenes in the MVs, because you'll see similar scenes in other videos, that's very important. Pay attention to the members that are paired up as well, that's important too. Overall, just enjoy, let us hear your theories, and after you've gone through *EVERYTHING* that you can, watch the XCeleste video on it. But don't watch it too early, it ruins it all.
