I always loved that look Jareth gives Sarah when Hoggle says he was leading her back to the beginning. He is both silently amused and most interested in her reaction.

David Bowie put a lot of truth and feeling into his acting as well as his songs. That's what made him a great actor and singer. So sad hearing that the man died too soon. May he RIP.

@RS250Squid3 жыл бұрын
@@maleehaaamir1708 He points out that Sarah is frequently fond of complaining that things are unfair. He's suggesting that he wonders if Sarah has ever lived in a world where everything was fair. Of course he knows she has never lived in a world where everything is fair, because such a world doesn't exist, and he's saying that he knows it, and she should too. He's basically saying "No it isn't fair, but then it doesn't have to be, because life isn't fair. You talk like you have been to a perfect world where everything is fair, but we both know you haven't".

One of the GREATEST movies I've every seen. A faithful NON-WOKE remake, followed by a part 2 and 3 and you can have ALL my money. I cant think of anyone who could do what David Bowie did for this film. I was thinking lady gaga for just a moment but MAYBE Brad Pitt could do it.
@_stupidbro Жыл бұрын
Half the charm of this movie was the puppeteering and how iconic David Bowie was (famous queer icon, for the record); I doubt any corporate movie studio would do it justice.
