Jarkko Ahola Sylvian joululaulu (Subtitles) reaction!

Some info. This "Sylvian joululaulu" 'Sylvia's Christmas carol' was written by Zachris Topelius (poet, author, journalist) in 1853, originally in Swedish titled "Sylvias hälsning från Sicilien" (meaning 'Sylvia's greetings from Sicily'), then composer Karl Collan uh, composed the song. Later it was translated into Finnish, I think the popular translation is by Martti Korpilahti. The premise is that a songbird, Sylvia,presumably "Eurasian blackcap", has been caught in Sicily and put into a cage. It has been blinded so that it could be used to attract other blackcaps for easier catching. It cannot get out and won't be able to return to the north in the summer and it reminisces what it saw outside in Sicily. Finally it wishes that "the brighest star" would shine on Finland, not named in the original but called "the North" (but the translations names it) and bless the faraway land.
