Concerning the bidet issue: I am the only Italian jarling and I wanted to elucidate the doubts you had about the bidet in your hotel room in Portugal, as it's the same type of bidet that we have here in Italy. The way I (and, as far as I know, everybody else) use it is thus: After you've finished pooping you wipe your butt with toilet paper, it's at this point you guys would call it quits, pull up your trousers, and go about your day, whereas there's still one more step if you own that type of bidet. You're supposed to move over to it, then sit on it, and use it literally as a sink for your butt. You turn the tap on and use your hands to thoroughly clean your butt with water and soap, and when you're done with that, you use a dedicated towel to dry yourself. I believe this is the superior way to clean your butt after going number two, as it leaves it clean and moisturized. Just think about it, if by chance any other part of your body came in contact with human feces, you wouldn't be content to clean it by wiping some paper on it, you'd want to wash it with water and soap, why then, make an exception for your butt? P.S. I've been a jarling for 6 to 7 years, and this is the first comment I've ever left. I'll use this as my chance to thank you for all the entertainment you've provided to me throughout these years. Keep up the good work! Bear bear.

On the idea Jamie brought up about streamers yelling. Im not sure how it is in the UK, but knowing that alot of streamers happen to be American... most houses here are completely detached. Like how you cant imagine a living arrangement where people wouldnt hear, I cant imagine living in a house where neighbors could hear me thru my walls, the yard, AND their own walls. Im not a streamer but I do often yell when gaming with friends. The obvious exception is apartments.

Continuing on the disliking your own voice discussion, I'd like to add a bit of my own experience. I was born in the Philippines but have lived in the US for most of my life; however, I still speak with a bit of a Filipino accent even though I only speak English. Growing up, I was a bit insecure about this, so I tried to make myself sound more American to fit in better with my peers and I would wince a little whenever I'd hear myself in recordings because I could still hear a bit of my accent that I was trying to hide. I was never bullied for my accent luckily, but it has always felt weird whenever people notice that I don't sound American because I often think I'm speaking perfectly clear until I hear a recording play back or someone points out my accent. They're never rude about it or anything, but to me, it makes me feel like a spy that got caught. As I got older, I got more used to my voice and accent and I'm not as bothered by the sound of my voice as I used to be. A lot of my close friends say they really like how unique I sound and that boosted my confidence a lot, also I've met other Filipino-Americans here who also speak like me so I don't feel as much of an outsider as before :) Only thing I'm conscious about now is that I have to speak slowly in stuff like job interviews or voice-over recordings where I need to make sure I can very easily be understood. I didn't expect to write this much, so apologies for the long comment, especially if this is being read in the next episode. This is just a part of myself I've been thinking about lately and it meant a lot that I heard a similar discussion this episode, and I hope that perhaps another JARling could relate to my story too :)

There hasn’t been a good Halo game since 2007, that’s nearly 18 years ago. Soon there will be people born the same year Halo 3 came out that can now legally drink in the UK. It’s a dead franchise, at this point there have more bad Halo games than there have been good ones. Why are people still holding out hope for this franchise? People just need to accept reality and move on. Halo is dead and it’s staying dead.

Games Bungie made: CE, 2, 3, ODST, Reach, and Halo Wars was made under them. 343 made: 4, 5, Infinite, and Halo Wars 2 was made under them. So, not even close.
