Күн бұрын

Jase filters his thoughts about submissive wives through his experience being married to a spirited woman, and there's a mystery surrounding Phil's new pen pal. The guys gain context from several verses about the biblical view of sexuality within marriage and in churches. Zach makes a Salt-N-Pepa reference that he seems embarrassed by, and the guys fondly remember the old Saturday Night Live skit “It’s Pat!”

This illness of porn is no laughing matter! My husband of 17 years and seeking help for years finally found a pastor who said he'd been delivered from this evil. After praying and many meetings with my husband. He told me to walk away and told my husband he'd walk threw this with him! My pastor said porn touches the soul and is a harder habit to break than Herion! My pastor had worked with many men and had victory in the Lord Amen, yet the demon had his cluches in my husband deep. My pastor said I just encourage you to separate from him as we walk through this Valley, and I will go through it with him. My husband chose his demise! I have two young Sons that we were raising and he exposed them both to this filth and today my boys still struggle I pray for them daily let me ask for you to pray for them as well

I've researched this and according to science this addiction causes ED. Which I believe is true. If you think about porn it's not a compassionate session. A marriage is supposed to have compassion especially in the bedroom and porn doesn't portray this at all. 🙏 For your children and I will do the same.

This is sad Barbara. It would have been much better to stay with your husband and seek the Holy Spirit for answers. I think that 'pastor' was over-involved - your husband needed Jesus to enter into the situation and help him through. Not blaming you, but much of the church world is set up so that we go to men for our answers rather than God. The group of elders that oversaw churches in scripture were not what we have today in many men on a pedestal, getting in the way of the Holy Spirit. I know, because I was one! Your help was already with you - the Comforter.

I 100% agree with Jase on the ticket issue. Part of the animosity towards law enforcement comes from police incorrectly punishing worki by citizens for non existent violations and abusing their power. Simply letting it go without taking the time to argue our point of view and paying the fine causes the problem to continue.

We lived in Cape Coral Florida in the 70s. There was an ordinance against parking a truck in the driveway. We had a Blazer and had taken the top off. The police took pictures of the Blazer at night with a tripod set up. My husband went to court and fought it because it wasn't a truck, and the Blazer is made for the top to come off. My husband won.

Shouldn’t have made him an ex and made it work no matter what, both have to die and summit to the Lord fully and God will work out the rest. I’m sorry for your loss, just wish people wouldn’t see marriage as something you can just end. Because it’s not, it’s meant to be a life long commitment that God allowed so honor the Lord and make it work no matter what, separation once married should never be an option in the mind because if it is the devil will push and push until that decision is made. But if there’s no option of that in our minds the devil will still try but won’t succeed. No hate or anything towards you, just sad this happens to a lot of people these days and it’s not what God wants for us, God is never ok with separation after He allowed two to marry. Just very very sad that even Christian view it as ok these days when it’s really not, God wants to restore and make whole bad situations and He will in His timing if we fully surrender to Him and His will being close to Him through His Word.

@@infantryrecon101st I loved my husband and forgave him over and over again until he tried to kill me. I’d asked him to get counseling with me, but he said he didn’t need it, then he came at me with a butcher knife. He’d previously wrecked my car and verbally abused me while intoxicated which I forgave, but threatening to kill me was the last draw. If he would’ve killed me, then he’d be in jail and who’d raise our son??? My neighbor who was a judge had also previously warned me to get out of the marriage but I kept forgiving him & giving him another chance until he tried to kill me. I wasn’t a practicing Christian at the time but it wasn’t a healthy situation for me or my son. He remarried few years later, continued getting loaded and committed suicide.

I am for Jase's stance. NOT because Jase is who he is, just because he is standing up for what is right. I support the police 100% but NOT blindly. As someone that has had many friends and family members in law enforcement I thought it was just people being buttheads. In the last six months, I have watched a lot of videos and the police are being jerks, lying, breaking the law, period. A few years ago, I had a guy in my front yard threatening to kill me and I had video and audio of the whole thing and I called 911, the police said "we aren't coming." WHAT?! I had to tell them I was calling the local news and they officer showed up 45 minutes later. He took the video but never filed charges. I have tried multiple times in writing to get the county sheriff to respond to me but, he won't. Five or six years ago, I got the first ticket I had gotten in over 20 years and that officer tried everything possible to get me to admit to "stuff". "Where have you been?" "What are doing?" "Where are you going?" "Were you hurrying back to work from lunch and were speeding?" Fishing. Entrapment. I had gone from a 65 zone to a 55 zone and didn't realize it and he was standing there with a radar gun in his hand and his previous victim was pulling away. This is a problem with law enforcement. They think they are gods. They think they are above the law. I have other stories but will stop. Go get them Jase. If the law can't protect and serve and turn into predators against the citizens, we don't need them.

In Michigan, the statute says “properly worn”. I don’t know about Louisianas seatbelt law. But some laws are very vaguely written, which is why when I was in law enforcement I’d be cautious when writing citations and performing traffic stops. Personally id give a warning and let it go, since a seatbelt was worn. The only time I wrote seatbelt tickets, was when folks didn’t have their kids belted in.

Alan, of course the Road Pirates will tell you Jase is wrong. They back their buddy, not what is right. Go Jase, Go!!!

You guys are starting to weird me out with the constant talk on every podcast about porn. Kind of weird. Not everyone has that issue you know. I literally hear more about porn on your podcast than anywhere else on social media. My fear is that you may be running the risk of planting seeds into the heads of folks who have never even thought about it before.

Move. On. I hoped all the ticket talk was over. I fast forwarded through most of it before. Fight it, I’m all for that. Just stop talking about it on the podcast. Go out and get some other stories. Please 😂.

Still think Jase was in the wrong. He was IMPROPPERLY wearing his seatbelt. I hope he gets fined for wasting the courts time. The more Jase tells about it, the more it sounds like he was upset that he wasn't recognized by the officer as the great celebrity Jase Roberson and let off... sorry.. that's what it sounds like to me.
