Ever since I purchased my excel spread from you, I've become very aware of my spending habits. I hoping that being more mindful and choosing wiser options will mean my bank account will start looking much more positive than it does now! I just use the budgeting tool that my bank has programmed into their online banking app and also use that to look back at spending, but since it's so separated from everything else I do I've been thinking about doing a bullet journal spread instead because I want to start trying to grow my income and start a savings. It's tough to find a spread that will be more useful than onerous!

In past months I've had just two tables on my finances page at the end of each month, one for spending (date, description, method, amount) and one for income (date, source, amount). This month, however, I split the spending table into three separate ones: one for credit, one for debit, and one for cash. I haven't really used it though because I'm home for summer break so I'm not spending money on stuff like groceries because my parents do but I also haven't started back at my summer job just yet, so towards the end of the month I should have more than one or two entries.

Sounds like a good tracker. I pay for essentially everything on EFTPOS so I would have a pretty barren cash column :P

Most of it is a bunch of SUMIF functions and conditional formatting :) It took quite a while to come up with a system that fully worked for me; it used to just be a running total :P

When you say you sell the budget trackers do you mean that you excel spreadsheet with the set up formulas and bar graphs seen as I add my values...as shown?? I would love to be more aware of my budget and spending....I do feel like I overspend with little to no savings...Please let me know how I can get my hands on this? just doing it in the bullet journal is not really giving me the full yearly picture and overall savings.

Hey there!
