As someone who's been on both ends on trying to keep in contact w/ friends and family. The relationships layout is a GODSEND for me. Ever Since I moved in with my bf 2 yrs ago, we became more like gremlins and really only go out on holidays. which, makes it hard to know what they are into (especially as a forgetful person). Just discord chat with most of our friends, but I also miss the coffee/shopping dates with all my girls! I wanted to get better at keeping in contact w/ friends and family this coming year and so this will help a lot with that!!!
@rode_rash395610 ай бұрын
Interesting to me that you included a contact tracker. No one gave me the idea, but I track my voice contact with my 5 adult children and my widowed mother. It gets included in my large monthly habit tracker, which includes water intake, voice contacts, actual habits I'm trying to improve, sleep, and steps.

I have a journal that I started to use and “messed up” so I didn’t want to use it… I put it away for years, and just now have decided to set up a reading journal for next year… of course I had to buy a NEW dotted journal for that (😝) but am now using the old discarded one as a practice one, so I can set things up in there to see if I like them before I do them properly in the new notebook… I have just now named it my R&D journal lol… thanks for that! Look forward to watching this so I can pick up some new ideas, you never know an actual proper bullet journal might be in my future again ❤

Can I ask a question? Why use a yearly collections versus just one planner?
@cherylespinosa449910 ай бұрын
I am making my 2024 journal and I have such things as year long planners, though I made them detachable, and 101 things, 24 in 24... However, I have also added a future log, etc? But I am considering turning it into yearly collections. Thoughts?
@JashiiCorrin10 ай бұрын
I use a yearly collections journal for those collections that last a full year, and I won’t want to transfer them into a new journal part way through the year. Because I use 2-3 “everyday” bullet journals a year, any full-year collections would have to be truncated or only partially used if I kept them in those notebooks 😊 hopefully that makes sense 😝 I’ve used detachable layouts for things like the year at a glance so I can move it from one journal to another and only set it up once though 💪 I try to keep my detachable collections at a minimum so they’re not overwhelming, but also I only make ones that I use fairly frequently into those detachable collections 🤔 I think it really just depends on what works for you and what feels comfortable to maintain 👌 for me, that’s having a separate notebook 😄
