Hi. I am not sure if this matters, but I am a white mother doing her sons biracial hair. I have done twists a few times. It there a way to keep them from unraveling so much. Hi! Your hair grows at the same rate regardless of the style. The key is to retain length. And most retain length by keeping their hair in protective styles and decreasing the amount of tension on the scalp and manipulation of the hair.
