@Jackssw You don't need to be vegan. To quote their website: "you don’t need to be vegan or even vegetarian (although you certainly can be!). But we suggest that people try to reduce their consumption of meat down to 1 or 2 days per week, and in general focus on higher quality, locally sourced produce wherever possible."

YES. Jasmin's message of support for ethical and sustainable purchasing and travel decisions related to our running endeavors is SPOT ON and much needed. We need more genuine dirtbags in our sport, repairing their clothes, accepting stains on an otherwise very functional shirt, carpooling or biking to a race. There has been a growing culture centered around the newest and "greatest" tech and gear in ultra running. Do we not remember the roots of our American ultras just 15-20 years ago? Consumerism was seen as a flaw and a weakness by so many, now we embrace the newest $1000 Garmin when we already have 4 other capable watches, flying and having grand "experiences" at every single race of the year... damn. I have heard her loud and clear. Thank you!

This is a formidable interview, where Jasmin had the oportunity to talk about her core values, and how these translate into pragmatic actions. Truly inspiring and exsuding authenticity. I listened to a number of interviews Jasmin gave over the past few days, but your questions came from a different angle, thus adding new, rich perspectives to her performance and personality. Thank you so much and warmest congrats on an exquisite moment!

Listening to Jasmin in this interview kept me smiling, even through the bits where I was tearing up. She seems like such a lovely, thoughtful person. And, despite the gulf between her achievements and anything I've done, a lot of what she said about the running was so relatable, it made me keen to get back out. Also loved to hear what she said about little girls being inspired. She doesn't need me to say it, but hugely well done, Jasmin. And good interview!

Great interview Finn - as always good insightful questions. Ones I had not heard. Fascinating to watch someone with such humility - as a marketer it seemed almost unfathomable to you how much she’s not into capitalizing on the moment. And yet you gave her a chance to talk about her passions and to thank those that supported her. 🙌

Fantastic interview with great questions! Also the fact you have been in the camp witnessing history first hand makes a huge difference! I was wondering if you could interview Jasmins husband Konrad, it would be so great for the outsiders to get a better feeling on how the camp life looks life, how was the atmosphere what do people do in the meantime between loops! I will make sure my nieces are aware of what Jasmin has accomplished! If there is a person I would love to have a selfie with its Jasmin! Thanks Jasmin!

They should let you just for this comment so you could find some humility. It takes most professional runners several tries just to finish 3-4 loops. She finished only 3 loops last year and was in the top six. The vast majority of serious runners get a DNF.

Once the race is made harder next year, it will be too hard for girls , I'm not trying to be sexiest, it's just a fact , with 5 finishers , the race will have 5 extra kms , one extra page ,and more climbing time next year ...lex wont want finishers next year .
