Jasmine Guy has always been one of the most underrated comedy actresses in TV history. Looking at all those episodes of "A Different World" I am so impressed by how her and Kadeem Hardison held that show together for such a long run. Kadeem also hasn't gotten his much-deserved praises.

Jasmine speaks with intelligent substance that matters, including in this video. ... and I'm not easily impressed by entertainers because a lot of them say things just for effect. This is in contrast to her flighty and funny character as Whitley (Different World), which made her famous. But Jasmine is in reality down to earth and genuinely cares about people and progress. She made a positive impression on many and no one can take that away, whether or not she ever works again.

Yes she is a smart and beautiful young lady, she was also a part of a positive movement with her acting role as Whitney in “A Different World” so gracefully beautiful, and I especially enjoyed listening to that sophisticated southern drawl. She was an inspirational cast in that show, for many college students.

But yes, she does not have Lupus based on her own written confirmation online. My older sister has lupus (formal diagnosis) and she is over 50 but people are always impressed with her youthful appearance when they find out her age (some don't believe it).
