I'm teaching myself crochet. I find the symbol charts much, much easier to understand than written instructions or even watching someone. A combo of either video or written with the chart is probably the best, but if I had to pick one, it'd be a chart.

You can continue expanding the circle. It’s similar to making circles with regular stitches such as the single crochet stitch. The next round would be an increase puff cluster followed by three regular puff clusters. The following round would be an increase puff cluster followed by four regular puff clusters and so on.

I’ve not tried but I’d guess if you changed colors at the chain after the cluster of puffs that it shouldn’t be too difficult
