I bought this album in 1982, I seen them on tv and was mesmerised by them.. I went on to play in bands of my own and these were a major influence on me in them early days.. I still have that same album today.. wish I could have seen them live.. absolute gold..👍

They sounded so great it caught Michael Mann's attention that he used two of their songs in "Miami Vice" "You Only Left Your Picture" and ""Whitestuff". Such a slick band.

Was totally gutted to miss this gig (On Hols) at the excellent OAD (Now called Transmission) club night,also missed the Botanical Gardens gig for the same reason .. More Brum gigs please Dave 😁🎼

Great to find this, Fashion really should have been mega, their music was so different to anything being made at that time. I still play the album now, along with the first 3 Ultravox/Foxx albums, just ahead of their time.

One of the best 80,s synth come fun know bands ever, I'm a muso and I grew up with this stuff, dee is great mulligan did some great keyboard and synthesis work, his use of the vocoder is legendary imo , Zues did a lot of work the outcome was amazing, I thought they would go much further , imo top notch 👍👍👍👍

Incredible to see this one! Hope to catch Dave and Zeus live someday. Fashiøn made my favourite popular music album (only equal for me of that time period and general genre was Remain In Light by Talking Heads) and was a big part of my early 80's.

Just reading Rob Grettons Top Class Manager and saw Fashion as a support group for Joy Division. How did I forget this awesome band. Bought the album and played it constantly. Class.

Hey Don. Maybe you’re not remembering because that version of Fashion you saw was a different band and style than this version. And I’m jealous because that’s one of my favorite bands and was very disappointed when the singer Luke left and this new version started a year later. I never got to see Fashion Mk I although became friends with Luke years later and got to hear some good stories about those early days. Brian

@@francishughes2016 Yes he has, & its almost tragic that they did,nt make it big, they had the style, some really great tracks, a great blend of electronic, funk with a brilliant bass line, & they had their own groove, & were a very cool band, i though that they were really, realy good.

Yes, agree with comments. Great band, saw them live back in the day. They should have been bigger but you know the old adage 10% talent 90% luck..they just, like many good bands, never got the breaks? Good to see them still at it!!

There is no THIS ONE album. Fashion exists of 3 periods and especially singer lineups. First Punk era = Fashiön = LP "Product Perfect" then Second High era = Fashion = LP "Fabrique" then Third Post era = Fashion = LP "Twilight of Idols"
