New, true love, yes. It blinds men to all faults. Let that love grow and flourish and we begin to notice those faults but, if it really is that true love, we are able to overlook or accept them. Heck, ask a couple that has been together for 20+ years and each can list every single fault the other has but they will stand for each other no matter what and have figured out how to work through the adversity. I truly wish EVERYONE finds that exact kind of love in their life.

So true Jasmine, about Home Free doing so many songs so well and I think... the real reason they cover so many styles of music soooo well is that they really respect and dare I say "honor" the power of the original version... Percy Sledges version of this was a stunning creation... and Home Free took the "heart and soul" of song to a new amazing place... that's how you really honor a "classic" find new ways for the next generation to appreciate the genius of the original... Home Free has it down to an art form...

One of HF's strengths is that they like to share leads around. For example, Austin was supposed to sing the lead on "Blue Ain't Your Colour" but after recording it he felt that it lacked something that he couldn't give it. So Rob sang it instead, with the warmth and sweetness the song needed. Often they will all record the lead and see who sounds the best. Tim had been trying to persuade Austin to sing this one for several years, but Austin felt he couldn't do it justice. Perhaps his own happiness gave him the courage to do it, with the stunning results we can hear. Check out the series of amazing covers on Austin's own channel, together with some truly impressive original songs.

Great reaction! I met my wife in seventh grade. We knew each other eleven years before we got married. We just celebrated forty two years together last summer. It's shared values, lots of laughter, believing that we are in this for / with each other and not just myopically for ourselves, and remembering and cherishing what a gift we've each been given in each other. Home Free honored married couples with their video "Timeless". It starts with a minute of interviews of several couples before it starts the music. Don't skip the interviews! So much love and respect there! I'd suggest "Timeless" as a good follow up! (NOTE: "Timeless" may be old enough that SME might block it. There are ways around that. Know that Home Free is pro-reactors and their new videos on their own label aren't blocked.)

Thank you for your reaction. I agree Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

"Is this really true?" you ask. Well, Jasmine, it has to be true love. There is a vast difference between "I love you true", and "I love me, and I want you." But when love is true, yes, she becomes the star at the center of his universe, and all else disappears in the blinding glory of her luminescent fire.

My husband passed away in March this year, and I miss him so much. No marriage is always perfect, but he made me happy. The way I know he truly loved me is when I wanted to do some nerdy stuff, like fossil hunting, digging for rocks, or looking through a telescope, he would take me, And he acted like he enjoyed it. Guys will take you to do stuff, but they generally act bored and uninterested. So if a man does a good job of pretending to be interested in your hobbies, he must love you.

Love is a noun, but more importantly, it's also a verb. That requires action, from both parties in the relationship. The biggest thing is, you can't allow anyone to change your heart! Love is never 50 - 50...in a relationship, one of you will be carrying the burden, supporting, comforting, etc., when the other needs it most! It's a sacrifice, but it is so worth it! ❤
