*As someone who also believes in taking my time to get to know someone and not rushing into anything, I think Candi was the wrong one here. Jason was very intentional by making sure he made time to see her during his work trip and communicating with her before and after, while it appears she gave him mixed signals from the beginning by meeting up with him for a first date, talking on the phone with him for hours maybe even flirting, then accepting his invitation to come out to Virginia. Then based on the vibes and what she was giving him, he attempted to kiss her and she turned him down. To be clear, I don't believe a woman has to exchange sex or any intimacy after a man spends money or shows her a good time. However, clearly after the first date, multiple calls, and then accepting his invite she gave him enough of a green light for him to feel comfortable. Imagine how he felt to then instantly feel rejected when attempting to build a further intimate bond with her. Her lack of clarity and communication shows even in this interview, yet she attempts to justify it by projecting it on him and smiling coyly with arrogance. He was being gaslighted from the beginning. I can understand and see his genuine confusion over her hot then cold actions sent him in a spiral. She was very immature and lied about blocking him. A woman who really works in her purpose and stood on business would have not accepted the weekend trip as to not lead him on. She would have communicated that for now she felt more comfortable moving at a slower pace. He then could have made the decision if he wanted to also move at a slower pace and continue to see her. But she accepted and once again tried to say he asked as if she suddenly doesn't have the ability to give or not give consent the way she did him when asked for a kiss. That's the part where you see her intentions were not serious for him and she was playing games. You should never accept a trip or expensive gift from a man that is courting you unless you are truly interested in him. Jason deserves better and I hope he finds a woman who wants the same thing he wants. He was 100% ready and invested. Candi needs to heal and address her wounds, never should have came on the show a second time if she wasn't serious about finding love.*
