I think Sonny knows with Jason back he even had to question the loyalty of his people because they’re have been many times where they’re more loyal to Jason then him. But it seems like Jason is at peace with staying legit as well which would be a nice change for his character.

These scenes would be so much better if Jason stood up for himself or called Sonny on some of the things he learned from Diane. The tension and disagreement is so one sided and quite honestly predictable. Plus it seems Sonny’s motivation for hating Jason at the moment has very little to do with the Feds and a lot to do with marrying Carly. At least that seems to be what he mentions the most with Ava.

Have Carly wake up one morning and we find out everything that happened from Nixon Falls until now has all be a dream she had because of too many cold meds. Okay? No Sonny not knowing who he was. Jason never 'died' and Britt is alive and Nine and Sonny never married, and Kristina hasn't become an annoying snot. Sure, there are some elements that can rework and make canon with some careful recon and mimicking events, such as having Tracy and Lois back. But let's just hit the reset button. Please.
