Thank God that Valentin picked up because Jason was having a tough time thinking that it was Sonny. I think that Anna only answered the phone in front of Jason, so she could prove what Sonny had done to him. Jason still wouldn’t have turned on Sonny, though.

Really wasn't expecting for confirmation of Valentin's Pikeman connection/involvement to fall into Anna's hands so easily and quickly, but do appreciate that it wasn't dragged out! Sonny could still be the one who ordered the hit though, it's possible that his go-to contractors were already in Pikeman's pocket! Everything Anna was commenting on, regarding Jason and Sonny, equally applies to her and Valentin! Shrinks call it projection!

Before we hand out the sympathy and outrage over Sonny being mistakenly, I won't say unfairly, blamed for the warehouse shooting, remember that Sonny has ordered a hit on Jason before! This could be a case of Valentin carrying out his plan to frame Sonny for Jason's "elimination," or he took care to co-opt Sonny's go-to contractors, so, if or when Sonny took action, it was guaranteed to be easily traced back to the mobster himself!

As for no one, by which I really mean Carly and Jason, further pursuing their suspicions that Sonny's meds aren't doing their job, at least from Carly's perspective, Sonny hasn't really been "Sonny," since he came back from Nixon Falls! Maybe the show wants Sonny to "rescue" himself? He might just have to hit rock bottom, (that's a scary thought!) or in some other way, come to/have a moment of clarity!

Sonny was rash and impulsive in threating Jason and Dex's lives in front of so many witnesses, and he has allowed himself to be set up for the attempt on Jason. But I do love the expression on Anna's face when she calls the number and Valentine answers with " has it been done". With all that she knows about Valentine, she can still be floored by his next level of deceit and murderous intent. Out of the five families who controlled down state New York? Was it Mrs. Woo, or a next generation of one of the three killed in the Limo explosion??? Does give them many avenues to pursue in this story line.
