As far as metal drummers go, I think Bittner is one of the most underrated. I don't hear many talking about him, but the dude is absolutely fantastic, and such a powerhouse.

Wesley Ostrander isn't Jason great? Old school. No triggers. No gimmicks He just plays the fucking drums like a pure metal drummer should play them. Drumming is still an art form to him, not a sport. He doesn't brag about playing 300 bom with super tight springs and double stroking to get there. He just hits those fucking drums hard a d squeezes as much juice out of those shells as he can.

What a phenomenal drummer. Jason is without a doubt a great addition to Over Kill. He’s great no matter who he plays with. He makes Over Kill sound even better. Just look at him, he’s having the time of his life. Playing with a band you grew up with and love can make anybody smile. I have a feeling he’s going to part of Over Kill for many years to come.

Um... Metallica, Slayer... but yeah, this guy is a great hired gun. Good instructor too. Took a lesson from him a few years ago - one hour yielded incredible results for both my practice routine and technique. He's great to discuss the psychology of metal drumming too.

Overkill knows how to choose um, Ron lipnicki is one of my favorite metal drummers ever based on his work with overkill, and jason bittner is certainly looking like he’ll be up there as well based on his ability to play these songs flawlessly and his work on wings of war, can’t fucking wait to hear his drum work on their new album🤟🏼
