I wouldn't say they stole the majority of their songs from old blues guys. There are a few on the first two albums. In a way I'm glad they did because I got into old blues records because of Zeppelin. The Beatles also ripped off black music, as did Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, etc. There's still no denying the world is a far better place having their music in it.

@outtacastatv Damn...why so angry, man? Yea, his father was the drummer for one of the worlds greatest bands of all time, but in the end, he's a damn good drummer himself!!

@outtacastatv Why does it matter? He doesn't tell people what to like and what not to like. If my father was a drummer in a band that is/was well known, and I really dug their music, I'd probably play some of their tunes as well. Besides, if you want to get down to it, Zep stole the majority of their songs from old blues guys. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but facts are facts...

You guys are dirt bags...dissing on J.H. like this. Jason Bonham is a master of he the kit as it realtes to his style of music...He truly knows exactly where the sweet spot of a tune is and nails it it every time. A true slammer.

pollenpony your so right so tired of that ole song & dance that LZ took others music as their own...zzzz. There is a long list of others that have done the same. For some reason Led Zep gets attacked about it, probably because they are so incredibly talented and successful. Lets be honest they have wrote tons of their own stuff too which is some of the best music in history. Best band ever IMO.
