@@dragospahontu I swear one more douche bag says it’s Chinese I’m gonna slap the 💩 out of them. That’s like saying GM is Chinese because it’s biggest investor (or buyer of debt) is Chinese. Yes the money is backed by a Chinese company, but the car and everything about it is made in Sweden minus a few that are made in South Carolina. And yes some electric polestars are made in China, but those are destined for the Asian market. The others are made in Sweden. And the V60sand V90s are made in Sweden only.

Honestly the styling, structure and reasoning behind Jason's reviews are brilliant breath of fresh air. Rather than obsessing over numbers and stats, focusing on real world considerations and understanding both the user groups that get the car and the intentions of the producers of vehicles, with a solid understanding of what happens and why. Absolutely wonderful!

I have a 2012 V60 T6 AWD R-Design, and I can confirm the turning radius thing. It is brutal. Also, not sure if it is only mine but the long wheel base makes the body flex a bit when going at an angle over sharp inclines like a steepish driveway and the ride for a semi-performance model is quite stiff so i have to get my wheels straightened every year due to the bad roads where I live.

volvo missed a huge opportunity to build a fun and sporty feeling wagon by offering what was essentially an upgraded P2 s60. The previous ownership learned that building and selling sport sedans and wagons only works if you offer exactly what competitors offer at a slightly reduced msrp. The S60R and V70R twins outsold this car by a margin of 4 to 1. The manual gearbox cars along outsold this Polestar. Now, had Volvo offered this car with a dry or wet dual clutch I think it would have taken a good chunk of audi S sales. If it had a manual gearbox as well, maybe M division would be somewhat worried.
@dylansaid34142 жыл бұрын
Although I do agree with alot of what you jave said, I think volvos intention is not to go after the Germans in the way of performance. Alot of their cars tend to sit one down from the main performance car that the Germans make. Volvo don't like to shout about things and it's one of the reasons I love them. Just look when they broke a record round the Nurburgring, they didn't tell anyone. If you look at alot of their performance cars over last sport of 5-10 years there has only been a limited amounted released. I can't remember the exact amount but I believe volvo only ever intended to make around 850 of the T6 version between 2015-2016 and around 850 of the 4 pot between 2017-2019. I may be off on the exact amount. I wish volvo would go after the Germans though as I belive they would have them worried
