Jason Cammisa on the Aston Martin V12 Vantage S 7sp - Vintage Motor Trend Ignition Full Episode 155

This is possibly my favorite sports car of all time. Also, one of my favorite episodes to write and film: 4th-gear power slides; 110-mph wheelspin on a dry lake, and that NOISE.
The BTS stuff was insane. A Roach motel so gross one of our producers slept in the car: the rest of us slept on top of our beds with towels. 110ºF temps, no water. And the most dust we've ever seen.
Plus, the car was delivered to me with two tires that had structural failures. Thankfully, the Aston Martin dealer in Palm Desert (run by a friend/guy named Jason Cammisa, and I'm not kidding) got us up and running with no notice.
I asked Aston to sell me one of these cars at the end of this review, not having any idea how I'd pay for it. It's the one press car I still think about the most.

I still retain that that 6.0L V12 is the greatest engine soundtrack to ever grace the roads, it is orgasmic to listen to. I agree also that it's entirely a car that is about the experience and the FUN of driving. When you put your foot down and go for it, because of it's simplicity, it just charms and makes you feel incredibly special. so glad to be able to find and re-watch this after years since it was released.

So funny that you mention the Miata as a reference to having "fun while driving" because it probably is the best sports car you can buy today, that you can actually have fun with on normal roads, every day! When going shopping, commuting to work or just on your way to a nice coffee place (i.e. coffee run). If I had the money, I would gladly go for the AM Vantage, but for now, I'll have to settle for my ND2 MX-5!
