Tragically sad. Jason fully lived the short years he had. He accomplished more than many people do, by excelling with his riveting dance moves! It was a raw skill he had that he fully developed. He lived that joy of performing great dances to the fullest! He expressed all the excellence that he had with dances that delighted audiences. He expressed his talent humbly, yet completely gave it his ALL! It would have been wonderful if he had had more years to give us more excellent choreography! He could have taught more aspiring dancers. I wish we could still see him today! What other great dance routines would we have seen from him? Imagine Jason dancing to all the new music since 2009! He is greatly missed. His accomplishments and dances were timeless. Wish he could have been enjoying life many longer years than he had! We sorely miss him! He could have inspired so many people over the years who love music and dance. Jason could have taught more dancers! HIS best friend Katie Boyle, I'm sure misses him. HIS family and close friends miss him. He just left a mark by the way he captured the spirit and Love of music and dancing to the hilt. He gave his utmost! He displayed complete true devotion to interpreting the best moves that the each music piece inspired, in the best way! He really truly interpreted the spirit and inspiration of each song. He gave the beat, tone, rhythm and meaning of each song the true justice it deserved. His intentional moves exuded true beauty and fluidity in his mesmerizing choreography! His dancing was exquisitely artistic and filled our senses, leaving us completely thrilled and mesmerized! After watching him we were full. No room for dessert!

Jason Colacino was from Tracy, CA. But he moved to New York City after they made a splash in west coast swing competitions and he became a pro instructor. He was laid to rest in the Tracy, CA area after he passed unexpectedly in 2009. Katie Boyle must've been from California too, they began competing here in California anyway.

IMHO, What Jason had that most don't is SELF CONFIDENCE. He ooozes self Confidence. He didn't need to "BE" the show, he was quite content in 'showcasing' Katie, and THUS sublimely, showcasing his talents. Quite the MASTER. Wouldn't it be nice if more people got this: When making someone else LOOK GOOD, one SHINES~ We've turned into a dog eat dog world where it's all about "ME".
