Baby is too young for spoon feeding and just wants it's bottle. He can't hold his head up or control it! He is also sucking the food off the spoon like it's a bottle, he has to learn to use his tongue to push the food to the back of the mouth to swallow it and not just suck it.

Babies are not supposed to suck the food off the spoon, you are supposed to put y food in their mouth and immediately remove the spoon!! I don't think your baby is old enough to eat from a spoon. Can he even hold his head up?

Yes I have children and grandchildren but I never let them suck food off the spoon. YOU grow up and get you a book on spoon feeding a baby!! Sitting there holding a spoon so the baby sucks it like a bottle is NOT how you spoon feed a baby!

@Carol West lay off. She didn't post so you "perfect parent want-to-bes" could critique her! NO ONE is perfect the first time, but no one is perfect any time! No reason for you to be so nasty! We should be supporting each other, not bringing each other down! If you have to say something, offer advice like "Try this..." ".....this worked for us....." "......etc, etc, etc........" What exactly do you think "Take some feeding lessons!" will accomplish other than hurt feelings on a person stressed out as it is????? I don't care if the video is recent or 10 years old. You can be a type A personality without being mean.........
