But, I would love to see Saquon break the rushing record tomorrow, and I was legitimately upset when they announced that Saquon would be sitting on Sunday. If the Eagles were going to break it, they would have seen that Saquon was on track for several weeks and maximized the earlier games. But instead they subbed him out fairly regularly and pulled him out in 4th quarter leads. If it was a priority for the team and leadership, that would have been apparent long before now.

I think the coach would allow him to play if Saquon asked to play for the record. I think Saquon is pained realizing it’s between his personal award vs. the city’s award. If you ask me Saquon did get the record, cause when you stop and think about it Saquon is only 101 yards away but they pulled Saquon from numerous games this season, games in which he WOULD have gained that 101 yards. I get why they pulled him and it's the smart thing to do, but had he played those games in full he would have not only beat the record, he would have SMASHED IT! Back during the 2012 season's playoffs in January of 2013 the Pateiots played against the Broncos and Tom Brady had six touchdown passes in the first half and in the second half of the game coach Bellichick refused to let Brady throw the ball and just ran the ball the rest of the game. After the game the media was all over Bellichick and he said that he was just trying to win the game. Brady should have had the world record for most touchdowns passes in a game.
